The Friends of Bedgebury
is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1078727) which supports
the work of Forest Enterprise in managing Bedgebury Pinetum and raising
awareness of the organization as a scientific and conservation site for the
world’s largest collection of conifers.

Money raised through Friends memberships and fundraising help
to support the vital work carried out by Bedgebury Pinetum to help preserve many
of the world’s rare and endangered conifer species which make Bedgebury a
premier site for scientific research and environmental education.

Making a donation
This provides a unique opportunity to provide assistance with
the south east’s showcase project to provide Bedgebury Pinetum with a new
visitor centre, and to build a new Education and
Study Centre.
There are several ways to help, join the Friends, sponsor a
tree for £200 or donate money directly into the project.
Corporate sponsors will be acknowledged in the publicity
surrounding the project.
As a registered Charity, the Friends can recover 28% tax on
any donations received from UK tax payers under the Gift Aid Scheme. This
means that your donation, small or large, will provide even more support for our
work.

Bedgebury Pinetum require sponsorship and donations to help continue their work
to save and protect endangered conifer species from around the world as well as
provide education and research opportunities.

Legacies
If you are thinking of revising your will or making one for
the first time, Bedgebury provides the opportunity to help secure the future of
some of the world’s rarest conifers. Donations of any size are important and can
be left, if desired, to help with specific areas such as education, conservation or research.
How to include Bedgebury in your will
If you are making or changing your Will to include a bequest
to Bedgebury, we recommend you seek advice from a solicitor or professional
adviser, but the following wording provides a guide.
For a residuary bequest:
