Bedgebury's trees...bringing learning alive

Bedgebury provides a unique opportunity for people to learn about trees, the environment and themselves.

We aim to use Bedgebury's world-class tree collection and forest to increase people's quality of life through learning.

Our learning activities...

  • Help people to become alive to the natural environment and understand the importance of conservation and sustainable development

  • Deepen people's appreciation and understanding of trees

  • Help people to enjoy being outdoors

  • Help people to increase the skills they need for everyday life

  • Support formal education programmes, including the National Curriculum, in schools and other educational institutions

The Education Team offers a variety of services including:

  • Organised visits (led by our education staff)

  • Available throughout the year

  • For schools, youth organisations and others
