Dragonfly Capture 2009

The Friends run several events throughout the year, most are open to all members, but some are restricted to our Gold members. These latter are usually free.

Friends Events

It is essential that you book events as places are limited. Call 01580 879842 to book.

Guided Walks for Parties

We are able to provide leaders for walks around the Pinetum. These will include points of interest and some of the history of the site. The walks last about one and half hours and are at a gentle pace. There is no direct charge, but we do ask for donations towards the work of the Pinetum. Call the above to arrange.

Natural History Walks

The Friends hope to  run a series of natural history walks around the Pinetum, these will include birds, bats, dragonflies and wild flowers. Watch here for more details.

Tree Walks

Our curator - Chris Reynolds - has run some highly successful walks for members in the past and will be running another this summer. These free events are exclusive to our Gold Members and are followed by a glass of wine and nibbles. Watch here for more details.
