Trees are coming into bud with beatifully coloured tips - bring binocuars for close up views on tall trees.
March is a time when the plants and trees come out of winter hibernation and start to bud. It is a wonderful time to visit and see the bright lime green of the new needles on our larches as well as the more obvious and showy spring flowers. Birds are more active now with nest building and mating a priority.
