Birds Seen at Bedgebury
Issued: Feb 2009
Notes:
- The List is divided into birds which one might normally expect to see in a typical year and those, described as Accidentals/Rarities, which might be seen only every few years
- The area covered by the List is the whole of Bedgebury, thus including the forest in general, the Pinetum, Bell School and its grounds; and all other peripheral and privately-owned land
- Any queries or comments on the List should be directed by email to bedgebury.birding@yahoo.co.uk
- The List is in the taxonomical order as used in Collins’ Bird Guide by Svensson and Grant
- Abbreviations in the main list are purposely kept as simple as possible. SV is summer visitor; WV is winter visitor; all other birds in that first list are considered as resident in the region
